Dr. Chamara Dedigamuwage

Dr. Chamara Dedigamuwage is a highly experienced General Practitioner committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care.


Dr. Chamara obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2008 and achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018.


With a strong background in chronic disease management, Dr. Chamara specialises in conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He is also passionate about men’s health, ensuring that patients receive tailored care to support their overall well-being.


Dr. Chamara has gained extensive clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings, having previously worked at Hervey Bay Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital, Maryborough, and Blacktown (NSW). 


His diverse medical expertise is further enhanced by his Diploma in Child Health and Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine, enabling him to provide well-rounded care for patients of all ages.
