Matthew Lupi

SKILLS BASED DIRECTOR

Matthew has worked in social and human services in Queensland for over 30 years, spending the last 24 years with the Queensland Public Service. 


Mr Lupi has held a variety of senior executive roles across policy, program and service delivery throughout the state and has led significant reform in disability services, child safety and community services. 


In 2020, Matthew led a whole-of-government seniors support strategy and the establishment of the Queensland Care Army.  Working in partnership with key government and non-government stakeholders, the Care Army attracted over 28,000 willing volunteers who provide much needed support to older Queenslanders during the pandemic response.  


During his career Matthew has spent time in North Qld and South West Qld where he worked closely with local Indigenous communities, councils, elders and community leaders to improve services and outcomes for children, young people and families.
