Dr. Bhavana Chhaya

Dr. Bhavana Chhaya is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a career spanning more than 20 years.


She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Mumbai, India (1996), and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (2012). She is also a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) and holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK).


Dr. Bhavana has specialised training and clinical interests in skin cancer management, chronic disease care, and long-term family health. She has worked across a broad range of healthcare settings, both in metropolitan and regional areas, including several years with the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom.


As a founding practitioner of Greenbank Pioneer Health in Queensland, Dr. Bhavana brings her international experience and patient-centred approach to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families in South East Queensland.


Her care philosophy is deeply rooted in building long-term, trusted relationships with patients. She takes the time to understand each person beyond their symptoms, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their health journey.


Dr. Bhavana is committed to delivering quality care at every stage of life, with a strong focus on prevention, early detection, and the ongoing management of both acute and chronic health conditions.
