The flu is more than just a bad cold, and it spreads easily through coughs, sneezes, and contaminated surfaces, and can even lead to pneumonia.
The best ways to prevent the flu are:

Queensland residents aged 6 months and over can get their flu shot for FREE between March and September 2026. Bring the whole family, enjoy a free feed, and help keep our community healthy.
