It’s on all of us Mob to stand up, speak up, and break the cycle of violence in our communities.
If someone you know is going through domestic or family violence, your support can make a big difference.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply listen without judgment.
Let them yarn in their own time and way.
💛 Ask what they need. Let them lead the conversation.
💛 Let them know they’re not alone — that you're there, no matter what.
💛 People experiencing violence often feel shame, sadness, and self-blame.
💛It’s important to remind them: it’s not their fault.
If they become distant, check in gently. Stay connected. A strong support network can help someone feel safe enough to take steps forward.
Never blame the person being hurt. And don’t make excuses for the violence.
Violence is never our way.
