May is Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Month

Our community is built on care, respect, and love, but sometimes things get hard. DFV doesn't always look the way we expect it to. It can be emotional, financial, or verbal, and it can happen to any one of us. If someone in your life is making you feel scared, controlled, or unsafe that's not okay, and you deserve better.

Violence is never our way.

It's on all of us to stand up, speak up, and break the cycle. If someone you know is going through it, you don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply listen without judgment. Let them yarn in their own time and way.

Ask what they need. Let them lead.

Remind them it is not their fault.

Let them know you're there, no matter what.

You are not alone. Help is always there.

Free and confidential support is available.
