Family Learning & Connection

Join us at Ipswich Children and Family Centre for our Family Learning and Connection sessions. Family Learning and Connection is a program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents and families to come together in a culturally safe, welcoming and supportive environment. The program provides opportunities to strengthen cultural identity and pride, build positive family relationships, explore healing and resilience, develop practical parenting and wellbeing skills, and learn about services and supports available in the community. 

Through yarning circles, cultural activities and shared learning, families can connect with other parents, share experiences and celebrate their strengths in a respectful, non-judgemental space. The program aims to strengthen family connections, support children’s wellbeing and build a stronger, more connected community.
