Today we celebrate our jarjums – the heartbeat of our communities.
Children’s Day is a time to honour the strength, culture, and spirit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children right across the country.
This year’s theme, “Little Footsteps, Big Future”, recognises the powerful journeys our children take as they grow — with each step shaped by culture, guided by community, and grounded in connection to Country.
