Kambu Health’s Social Health Team invites mob to come together for a powerful community event to:
✨ Honour loved ones lost to suicide
✨ Support those who are struggling
✨ Raise awareness and walk side by side for mental health
Each year, more than 3,000 Australians die by suicide – our families, friends, and loved ones. Together, we will walk in remembrance, and stand strong in connection, compassion, and hope.
🌿 During the walk, we will pause to write names of loved ones on leaves and place them on trees along the path – creating a moving memorial of remembrance and healing.
After the walk, we’ll gather for a yarn, BBQ, and cuppa. This is about community, healing, and showing that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
📍 Join us, stand strong, walk proud, and let’s shine light out of the shadows.
🖤💛❤️💙💚🤍🖤

A lot of people from all over the world have played the well-liked and fun online game Eggy Car. The objective of the game Eggy Car appears to be quite straightforward at first: the player must drive as far as they can without dropping the delicate egg that sits atop a small car.
I just read that post about the Out of the Shadows Walk for suicide prevention and how community support can literally bring people out of isolation. It got me thinking when students feel overwhelmed by tough courses, sometimes they look for shortcuts instead of help. If you’re ever stuck on complex topics in your online advanced mathematics class, reaching out for guidance and support (not just going it alone) can make a huge difference.
I’ve walked through darker days where silence felt heavier than any words, and during one of those moments I even whispered to myself “could I get online class help just to ease this load?” But then I felt the strength in admitting pain, reaching out, and realizing healing doesn’t come from shortcuts it comes from small acts of courage, one breath at a time.
