Hi, my name is Stacee Caton, and I take great pride in my identity as a Kamilaroi woman. 

My upbringing has been fortunate to span across Queensland and the Northern Territory. 

I completed my education in Mount Isa, located on Kalkadoon Country. Shortly after, I embarked on a journey with the Queensland Government, Department of Communities.

My career has encompassed roles within both the State and Local Governments of Queensland and the Northern Territory. Specifically, my focus has been on Human Services, where I have engaged with areas such as Child Safety, Housing, and Youth Justice. 

More recently, I have temporarily stepped away from my position within the Queensland Government to embrace a new opportunity as Director, Education Services.
