Exciting News for Amaroo Families!

We are excited to welcome Dr Siobhan Kennedy-Costantini to the Amaroo community!

Dr Siobhan is a Developmental Psychologist and Circle of Security facilitator who will be working alongside our educators to support children's emotional wellbeing, relationships and learning. She will be spending time in our classrooms, helping our team better understand children's emotions, behaviours and developmental needs through evidence-based practices.

Through our implementation of the “Circle of Security” classroom approach, we are continuing to build on the strong, nurturing relationships that are already at the heart of Amaroo. This approach helps educators understand the needs behind children's behaviour and supports them to respond in ways that help children feel safe, secure and confident.

It's important to know that Dr Siobhan's role is not to assess individual children. Instead, she is here to support our educators with practical strategies, professional coaching and opportunities for reflection that strengthen outcomes for all children.

Dr Siobhan also enjoys connecting with families. If you see her around the service, please feel free to say hello. She is always happy to chat about children's development, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and the wonderful ways we can support children together.

We look forward to the positive impact this partnership will have on our children, families and educators as we continue to grow, learn and thrive together.
