Sky Country Indigenous Trail Walk with Ipswich Children and Family Centre


Come join Ipswich Children and Family Centre for a special Indigenous Trail Walk where we look up, listen and learn from the stars, the moon, the wind and Country. 


We will be reading Sky Country, written by Aunty Patsy Cameron and illustrated by Lisa Kennedy. Sky Country shows us stories that guide, protect and connect us. 


We will also have several activities for children to explore: 

  • Wind and ribbon dance station 

  • Sun and shadow station 

  • Starry sky tent 

  • Bird watching trail 

  • Art and craft station 

  • Sounds of Sky Country 


We would love to have you join us! Please make sure that children bring a hat, sunscreen, walking shoes, and a water bottle. Light refreshment will be provided.
