Speech Pathology Week- 23-29 August 2026

This week we are celebration Speech Pathology Week. This year’s theme is Communication creates possibility, and reflects what speech pathologists see every day in practice.

When communication and swallowing needs are supported, people have more opportunities to connect, learn, make choices, participate and thrive.

The right supports can create opportunities for people to connect, learn, make choices, participate and thrive.

This is why Speech Pathology Week 2026 is focused on possibility. Communication creates possibility, and speech pathologists help turn possibility into opportunity. The theme connects the everyday practice with the broader outcomes the profession helps make possible: stronger participation, greater inclusion, improved wellbeing and better access across health, education, disability, aged care and community settings.

Kambu Health is proud to offer speech pathology in partnership with Bloom Healthcare.

We are also proud to offer support to our Amaroo Kindergarten community over the coming months through our partnership with the Brisbane Feeding Clinic. Through this partnership, experienced Occupational Therapist Pippa and Speech Pathologist Carly will be working alongside our team, sharing practical strategies to support children's independence, communication, social skills, hygiene routines and confidence during mealtimes.
