My name is Rhianna Patrick, I am a freelance Torres Strait Islander journalist, broadcaster, and audio content creator with 25 years media experience. 

I have worked across news, tv documentaries, national radio programming and podcasts. 

In addition, I have written for Kill Your Darlings, NME Australia, The Australian Music Vault, Rotten Tomatoes and IndigenousX. Rhianna also curates one of Spotify's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander playlists, 'Original Storytellers'.

My family connections are the Zagareb (Mer) and Wagadagem (Mabuyag) clans but I grew up in Weipa on the western side of Cape York before my family moved to Brisbane when I was 10.
