Early Years Education:

We recognise the importance of early childhood education and its impact on a child's development. Our centre provides early years education programs that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and foster a love for learning. Through our playgroups, children can engage in age-appropriate activities and interactive sessions that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development while incorporating cultural elements. Our dedicated educators create a nurturing and stimulating environment that honours and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, allowing your child to explore, learn, and grow.

Transition to School:

Preparing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children for a successful transition to school is a key focus at Ipswich Children and Family Centre. We understand the importance of preserving cultural identity during this pivotal stage. Our transition programs are designed to equip children with essential skills, including literacy, numeracy, social interaction, and a strong sense of cultural pride. We collaborate closely with parents, educators, and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to ensure a seamless transition that respects and embraces cultural diversity, while supporting each child's unique journey.
