Tian Mawhirt

Tian Mawhirt

A/General Manager Health

Born into a Defence Force family, I experienced the challenges and advantages of frequent relocations throughout my childhood, shaping my emotional resilience and adaptability.

These formative experiences fuelled my commitment to mental health advocacy, leading me to dedicate the past seven (7) years to the mental health and allied health sectors. During this time, I have witnessed the importance of accessible mental health care for all individuals.

Inspired by the incredible professionals I’ve had the privilege to work alongside, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Human Services with a major in Counselling. My personal journey has instilled in me a passion for addressing barriers to mental health support, and I am dedicated to fostering understanding and compassion in every interaction.

As I continue to grow in my field, I aim to contribute to the development of effective strategies that enhance health accessibility and care, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
