Dental Appointments for Mob - Important Information

Keeping our mob’s smiles strong and healthy. Here’s what you need to know about accessing free public oral health services (Dental):

🦷 Dental is provided through Queensland Health at Ipswich Hospital.

🦷 All jarjums (0 to Year 12) are entitled to free dental and can be referred.

✅ To be eligible, adults must:

• Be a Queensland resident

• Have a Medicare card

• Hold one of the following concession cards:

• Pensioner Concession Card (DVA or Centrelink)

• Health Care Card

• Commonwealth Seniors Health Card

• Queensland Seniors Card

• Dependants listed on an eligible adult’s concession card are also covered.

Adults visiting from interstate who hold a valid concession card and Medicare are only eligible for emergency care.

Important info about all services at Kambu Health:

🖤 You must be a Kambu Health client.

💛 If you’re Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, you need a 715 Health Check (every 9 months) to access internal and external health services.

❤️ If you’re not Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, you’re welcome to book a GP appointment – but specialist services will be referred outside, the same as other medical clinics.
