2026 Theme: Give To Gain

When we give, we gain.

This year’s theme reminds us that generosity isn’t a loss — it’s powerful growth. When we give our time, knowledge, support, advocacy and opportunities, we create stronger pathways for women and girls to thrive.

For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, giving has always been part of who we are — giving culture, giving care, giving leadership, giving strength to community.

And when our women rise, our families rise. Our communities rise. Our future rises.

Give To Gain is about reciprocity. It’s about lifting each other up so that equality isn’t just a goal — it’s lived every day.

Whether it’s mentoring a young woman, advocating for change, creating safe spaces, sharing skills, investing in leadership, or simply standing beside a sister — every act of giving multiplies opportunity.
