Kambu Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation for Health (Kambu Health) wishes to advise members that Ms. Simone Jackson has resigned from the Chief Executive Officer position.
The Board of Directors will utilise this time to undertake a comprehensive recruitment process to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into the future.
The Board is also commencing the nomination process to fill two (2) vacant Board positions. Details of the nomination and appointment process will be provided to all registered members by 30 April 2026.
In the interim, the organisation’s day-to-day operations continue to be effectively managed by the Executive Management team, with Board support as required, ensuring continuity of services to the community.
Kambu Health is aware of ongoing commentary across social media platforms. The Board considers any harassment, intimidation, or defamatory content to be unacceptable. Such matters are being monitored and are being referred in real time to our legal representatives and Queensland Police for review and action. The Board reserves all rights in relation to any appropriate actions arising from these matters.
