Cancer is the second most common cause of death for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, who are 43% more likely to die from the disease than other Australians.

Cancer screening helps keep our people, families and communities strong, safe and healthy. Looking after our health is one way we care for ourselves, our loved ones, and future generations.

Having regular screening can make a real difference. When cancer is found early, treatment is often more effective.
