Today is World Diabetes Day.

  1. Find out all you can about diabetes

  2. Eat healthy foods

  3. Be active every day

  4. Take your medications as prescribed by your doctor

  5. Check your blood glucose levels (BGL)

  6. Check your feet every day

  7. If you smoke: STOP

  8. Have regular blood tests

  9. Have your blood pressure checked

  10. Have your eyes checked
