Dr. Elisabeth (Liz) Dumitriu brings a wealth of experience and a passion for providing comprehensive primary and preventative healthcare to our community.

After spending her first two years practicing as a doctor in her home region of Cairns, FNQ, Dr. Dumitriu embarked on a journey into surgery for three (3) years, before commencing her General Practice training.

Her experiences have taken her across regional hospitals in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland, where she developed a deep appreciation for rural and regional healthcare settings.

Dr. Liz's expertise lies in minor surgical procedures and wound care, alongside a broad interest in all aspects of primary and preventative healthcare. With three (3) years of experience in surgery, including six (6) months in paediatric surgery in Melbourne, she brings a unique skill set to Kambu Health.

Dr. Liz is passionate about understanding the unique elements of each patient, their family, and their community. She believes that every individual's story plays a vital role in tailoring a personalized approach to their healthcare. 

Dr. Liz is committed to building strong doctor-patient relationships, where open communication and mutual respect are paramount.
