Dr. Raymond Blackman completed his studies at James Cook University in Townsville in 2007. He then worked at Townsville Base Hospital for two years before moving to remote North Queensland at Palm Island.

During this time Dr. Raymond worked as a locum in Mt Isa, Moree, Condobolin, Gladstone, Dalby and Carnarvon (WA). 

In 2019. Dr. Raymond moved to Brisbane to continue working as a GP.

Dr. Raymond has an extensive knowledge and interest in a broad range of health conditions including: chronic diseases, diabetes, asthma, heart disease and lung disease, women's health, sports Injuries, Indigenous health, skin check and skin procedures, removal of skin cancers, and insertion and removal of Implanon.
