Kym Monzari

DIRECTOR, HEALTH SERVICES

Born and raised within a low socioeconomic community of South Auckland, New Zealand, I emerged as a resilient and determined individual, defying statistical stigmas as a young Māori mother at the age of 17. Despite the many challenges my young family and I faced, my unwavering determination propelled me to overcome obstacles, culminating in the successful completion of my Bachelor of Nursing degree by the age of 22 in 2012.

My personal journey has been marked by navigating barriers and firsthand experiences of health inequality, igniting a fervent passion within me to address and close the gap in health disparities, particularly for First Nations people.

Since joining Kambu Health in 2016, I have held various clinical leadership roles, leveraging my skill set and dedication to drive positive change at both systemic and developmental levels. As the Director of Clinical Services at Kambu Health, I contribute to the development and implementation of robust systems and processes aimed at delivering exemplary clinical care that aligns with Kambu Health's deliverables and performance indicators.

I am dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity within Kambu Health, ensuring that our commitment to delivering compassionate and comprehensive care remains at the forefront of everything we do.
