Diabetes Awareness Walk- Kambu Health Laidley Clinic 14 November
Come join us for a Diabetes Awareness Walk from Laidley Clinic to the Laidley Recreational Reserve on Friday 14 November 2025 at 8:00am! Let’s walk together, yarn up, and take steps for better health. After the walk, enjoy a light brekkie (you must take part in the walk to join us for brekkie). Spots are capped at 30, so get in quick! Lung Cancer Awareness Month
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month – a time to look after our lungs and check in with mob who might be eligible for the new free lung cancer screening program. Lung cancer sadly impacts too many of our people, but early detection can save lives. Starting July 2025, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50–70 who smoke or have recently quit may be able to access a free, safe lung screening test.
